A while back we had a discussion about informacion matrimonial vs dispensa matrimonial. I recently found on film # 226921 for Informacion matrimonial of Nochistlan Zac, year 1899 a book dedicated to contras matrimoniales. This book details those proposed marriages that have parentescos de consanguinidad, meaning connecting family lines. I just began perusing it so I don't have many details. I found 1 possible family relation in the Ruiz/Munoz line that may be my relative. As part of this document it has a response from the Arcdhdiocese in Latin.
Is this something that the rest of you have encountered? , was this normal procedure in most regions.
