After looking at your files, I see that your ancestor Pedro Jose Suares del Real and his wife Maria Martina Sanches Castellanos are as far back as you have gone.  Well, I am fairly certain that Pedro belongs to my Suares del Real family.  Here's some of what I have found about that family, as far back as the immigrant ancestor from Spain:

go to: http://biblio2.colmex.mx/bibdig/dicc_cubas/base3.htm [also
found in the links area] and under "Llanetas" it says that its a
Hacienda close to "Valparaiso partido del Fresnillo"

go and check it out there are a lot of entries for San Jose and others
but i didn't see Llnetes specifically. Also I did see a San Miguel del
Puerto but it in Oaxaca.

have a look,

Note:
A couple of years ago I was told by a genealogist from
SHARR, not to pay much attention to Mexican birth
records whenever race was noted. Such birth record
notes (race) were just part of the racism that existed
at that time, and had no meaning to the make up of the
person.

I doubt if any one us can say what our ethnic make up
is, I know I cannot.

We are just good people!

You're welcome Joseph.  I should have been posting Mimi's email with the current issue of Somos Primos every single month, but for some reason or another I have just neglected to do it.  I should know better too, as I have been a member for years and because I regularly attend the SHHAR meetings and have been a Board member for quite some time.

I know, there is no excuse for me.  Sorry.

But I can make good by posting Somos Primos on Ranchos every month.  Besides for everyone interested, you can view EVERY SINGLE BACK ISSUE to the very first one.

Adios,
Steven H.

Hi Joseph,
I actually didn’t mean posting it on the message board, but in the section for
the files.  I re-read my message,
though, and could see how you thought that’s what I meant.  Ok, so, in the meantime, I’ll do my
background check and let you know when I’m ready.  Thanks again!!!

The reason I asked, is because there is a ranch
outside of Jerez called "El Salto", which some of my
ancestors was lived.

Thanks María,

As you know, this takes quite a lot of detective work. Sometimes we have the obvious right in front of us and we don't see it, and sometimes everything seems to fall into place naturally.

Querying the FamilySearch databases is kind of tricky because of all the spelling errors or variants

Film at LDS: Was-Re: Bobadilla

when you and the other members get a chance there is a section in the
Ranchos2 Files area for members to list the films that they have on
permanent hold at their local LDS library. Make sure when you make up
your new file that you click on the box that sends an announcement to
the group.

[also I am very happy that you are happy Mickey. . .your comments and
those other comments by the membership make my work a satisfaction].

thanks,

joseph

ps: once you make up a file don't change anything like the name or
anything. Try to get the name of the file and the description right the
first time. If you create the file and then think about it and decide
you are going to correct the description and click "edit" and make the
changes then when the "notice" goes out to the membership and we click
on the URL that leads to that file it will not be on the other end. IT
WILL be where you created it and correctly functioning but not just
correctly tied to the notification link.

Thanks.

Wow! How could I overlook the age factor? Even considering Rosalia's fertile period of 19 years (from 1765 to 1784), marrying at eleven seems too farfetched! :)

MA. DE

Raigosa/Raygoza

Glad you found Joseph Dionicio's parents. I thought it would be one
of these two:

JOSEPH DIONICIO RAYGOSA MOJARRO
Gender: Male Christening: 06 DEC 1731 Tlaltenango De Sanchez Roman,
Zacatecas, Mexico

JOSEPH DIONICIO RAIGOSA MARTINES
Gender: Male Christening: 05 MAR 1741 Tlaltenango De Sanchez Roman,
Zacatecas, Mexico

I wonder if the Rosalia could be this one instead:

MA. DE LA LUZ ROSALIA CASTANEDA LOPES
Gender: Female Christening: 11 APR 1745 Tlaltenango De Sanchez Roman,
Zacatecas, Mexico

The other one seems too young to be married in 1764, though I do
realize sometimes people did get married that young...

I'll send you a list of the descendants that I have tomorrow.

Hello Alberto,

My great grandmother, Margarita Pinedo, was from El Salto.
I've always assumed this "El Salto" is a place located a few miles
northeast of Colotán, Jalisco, but on the state of Zacatecas, near
Villanueva.

The reason why I think my "El Salto" is located in Zacatecas and not
to be confused with "El Salto, Jalisco", which is Southeast of
Guadalajara, is because my great Grandfather was from Colotlán, which
is relatively close. Makes sense, doesn't it?

Hope this answers your question.
Regards!

Angie,

I reviewed the Raygoza records you posted. All seems to indicate
that they are indeed siblings, as the parents names, the location and
the dates coincide. I'm adding them for now to my tree and
I'll make
a note to verify on microfilm.

I went two generations further on the Raygoza line, as I have now
Francisco Roman De Raygoza, father of Josseph Dionicio and Joseph de
Raygoza father of Francisco Roman . Please review the updated
GabinaMartel file on my folder, from the sixth generation and up.

Regarding Rozalia Castaneda, wife of Josseph Dionicio, I have one
candidate from the same batch number of baptismal records, which is
the following:

MARIA

Jerez, Zacatecas
